Our history

A second-generation family-owned and operated company located in Quebec, Farel was one of the first 3PL operations in the area and originally focused on standard transaction-based operations, where we would handle a single load from origin to destination. However, as the industry evolved, so did we. Now, we specialize in technology and logistics services, managing global freight budgets and operations through volume discounts (as opposed to single transactions).

In 2001, after the events of 9/11, we helped our customers and partners get C-TPAT certified to ensure their supply chains were secure. Additionally, we started developing our own software in 2005 to improve our operations and provide even better service to our clients.

Farel’s team of logistics experts has over 20 years of experience in the industry, providing unparalleled knowledge and expertise in all aspects of logistics management. Additionally, our programming team consists of full-stack developers with an average of 15 years of experience in logistics and cross-platform software integration, including API, EDI, and Automation.
